About

Drawn to the aesthetics of archives, my multi-disciplinary practice serves as a physical inquiry into daily routines, patterns and language, typically exploring our relationship to the mundane and how it manifests in the spaces we dwell in. I scrutinise the everyday, often engaging with overlooked, commonplace things such as folded paper, envelope windows, manila folders, filing cabinets, clothes hangers, commas, lines and margins. Within my practice, I prompt viewers to reconsider these familiar forms we typically encounter on a day-to-day basis, and to experience them from a new perspective. By reappropriating ordinary, found material through printing, collaging, metalworking and photography, seemingly banal objects and motifs are given weight - both figurative and literal - and expanded beyond their traditional and functional constraints.
