Dwell (2024)
To dwell relates both to the idea of pondering on something or residing within a particular place. As informed by Otto Friedrich Bollnow’s writings in Human Space, this body of work used language based motifs to explore the notion of inhabited space. Simple gestures like margins, lines and folds implement boundaries within a piece of paper akin to those imposed by structures in our everyday surroundings. This mixed-media installation scrutinised habitual acts of thinking, reflecting, speculating and dwelling and its dependence on a given environment.
