Fragile (Please Take Care) (2024)
Fragile (Please Take Care) is a project which continues my adaptation of language
based motifs to exlpore our relationship to the mundane everyday. I am particularly curious
about private, interior spaces such as those within the home, and what it means to exhibit
them in a public, gallery setting. Language manifests in this body of work through my figurative
and metaphorical dissection of envelopes: how they are made to simultaneously conceal and
be opened, meanwhile their windows only reveal what is intended to be seen by the recipient.
